Mount Airy and Surry County are full of fun things to do, not only with your kids, but with your significant other too. Before marriage and parenthood, dating was how you got to know your person. It's how you connected. It's also how you had fun. It may be harder as a parent, but it is just as important now as it was then.
My husband is definitely my best friend. We do the responsible, adult things side by side every day. When we go on a date, we get to truly relax, be ourselves, and reconnect. We usually end up talking about our kids or work stuff, but it's conversation without distraction and interruption. It's fantastic. And it's great for our marriage. So call your in-laws, find another couple to keep your kids and offer to return the favor, or text the babysitter and get your next irresistible date on the calendar.
I've rounded up some fun ideas for your next date in Mount Airy and Surry County, NC.
